Item: Thompson Elite seatpost 27.2 x 320. Straight, not setback version.

Reason for selling: a tad too short for me.

I bought this new from a shop in the US. Someone had cut it down by 1 cm (why I don’t know) then not used it. There are no seat tube marks on the post. Unfortunately it is a bit too short for me. Comes in Thompson bag with tags. Looks the same as pictured here.
Post and cradle of all Thomson seatposts are extruded and machined from a single block of 7000 aluminium, not bonded like other posts. Absolutely beautiful piece of equipment - it'll make your bike (and you) look sexier. They are also bloody strong.
