HAYES MAGS. price drop, $170 a set. complete 6" setup

Item: hayes mags, set
Location: melb, eastern suburbs
Item Condition: good, all working well. pads are reasonably new.
Reason for selling: no need...
Price and price conditions: $270 a set. now $240. cmon... $200. this is stupid, but igotta sell.
Extra Info: 6inch rotors, will full rotors and IS mounting. right lever is black, left is that grey, front calliper is grey, rear calliper is half grey and half black. so a little mismatched, but working ok. one 8" rotor spare and both front and rear 8" mounts, for not much more can include. (front 8" is IS for 20mm thruaxle hub). brakes are a bit squeaky, front had a bleed 2 or 3 months ago.

the complete set of nines are gone. the 05 set with no rear hose is still looking for a home...as are the cables and the mags.

whats the go with holding items for buyers anyone??

If the buyer is certain and has fully organised the purchase but isn't physically able to make contact for 5 days, do you sell the item to someone else?

I'd think that it was up to the buyer. But if it has been a DEFINATE organisation then it should be held for at most a week. I presume there is an underlying message in all this? You should really discuss this with the seller, and not on an open forum. Free Bump.

*Edit* Hey Luke, is that 'on hold' (HFX 9) for me? Or is it for the other guy. Coz we've fully organised etc. Just wonderin.

thats the same brake i was after and i had also fully organised it all about a week ago. Keeping in mind luke that you didn't even try and contact me again to confirm my interest :confused: and the policy should be at least a week.

sorry for the slow reply. ok... maybe it should be a week... i think i waited 6 days? my greatest apoligies, it is on hold for DH maniac, and sorry for the confusion. i left you with my mobile and i think my email? well im sure i left you with my mobile, with the hope that you would contact me, and wanting a fast sale made the descision to sell it to someone else who also made an offer, 6 days after last contact with you.

id love to operate on the presumption its not sold until a deposit is taken, but i think six days of free hold is in the idea of etiquette? sorry if you are disgruntled at this.
