Well, we've finally completed the massive move to our new premises. We now have the space to ship more products and as such Dirt Works Australia has both part-time and full-time positions available in our Distribution Centre.
Part-time:
Shifts are available from Monday through Wednesday with up to 27 hours a week. (can be adjusted to suit uni, college etc)
Full-time:
Hours are Monday through Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm. (38hr week)
Job description:
On the job training is provided. Primary job responsibilities in the Shipping Department include carefully and accurately picking, packing and labelling our customers' orders in a timely and efficient manner. Employees must be alert to work flow and able to act independently to ensure all orders are completed efficiently. Attention to detail, ability to detect and resolve problems, excellent communication skills and low error rates in picking, packing and labelling are critical.
Desire to strive for efficiency and to work as part of a team to reach our goal of shipping all orders on time every day is needed. This job requires the ability to be on your feet for the duration of your shift, occasionally lift bulky and/or heavy items, and use warehouse equipment safely. Excellent attendance and timeliness are required along with self-motivation. Employees must be willing to occasionally work additional hours on peak days to get the job done - and still keep your sense of humour! :)
Where:
Dirt Works Australia is based in Blacktown in Sydney’s Western suburbs. We are a 10 min walk from Blacktown train station. 10 min by bike from the M4 and 10 min from the M7. We have staff showers available and secure bike storage.
