Woot Yeh i'll come on both. I got a few suggestions for sum places to ride. Subiaco for the 2nd Nov coz theres alot of shit there to ride.

Or if you guys wanna stay at 1 place for the whole day Belmont Skate Park. Its the most fuckin awesome skatepark. Its got like a 10 foot Vertwall and a 8 foot spine. If anyone here has seen nedlands its literally 3-4 times the size of that. Lots of quarter and theres this like dirtjump thing for all the riders its basically like a tabletop dirtjump but out of concreate. Like with landing n everythin. And there supposed to be sum sick dj's round there. also on sk8 park is like boxes and transfers etc etc.

Yeh count me in definitely coz i should have my new bike by then..... And my guys should b in if all goes well.. dfey always up 4 a good ride.

ive got shitty knees and ankles and just went to the pyshio today... need to wear orthodics for the rest of me life which i dont care to much about... but wat i do care about is the knee :|

ive done something to my knee (called jumpers knee) and the tenden joining the bottom of the knee cap and the little bump and the sttart of ur bone (tibia or somthin i forget) is stuffed and every time i straighten my leg the tenden pulls on that bump of bone too hard or something and if i kept riding/doing sport that affects that area then that bit of bone that its attached too would break off then id b in real big shit

but if i rest it now then it shoudl b rite... BUT... i have to rest it until it fully heals... which could b a few FUCKING MONTHS :| omg no riding for a few months im so farkin cut :| and i just organized this ride lol soooooo CRAPPY

tho i think i might just come along with the digi camera and ride along with u guys n take pics tho dont kill me if i dont catch up :P

This reminds me of some cool shit last night while driving.
I was goin up Norma road in Alfred Cove and there were these two guys on red/white Giant hardtails. Looked em ova to check em out for rape potential. lol :D ........... Nar to see if they were just pedestrians or were rider riders like us (get me?). Had shinnies on and thoght shit this is promising. Neway I drove up to them and introduced myself and got talkin. Thes guys wre like yeh we ride dwellingup and allova the place in perth. I was like hell good. New Riders. Neway one of the guys was named FREDRICK lives in ATTADALE near the primary school.

Do any of you guys know him or his mate cause I wanna find these guys and go for a ride with them?

Yeh we've gotta hire a bus and go upto mundaring weir DH runs some time. This would be awesome. Like 10-20 ppl all riding awesome DH runs in the shade of pine trees. (Just had to add that bit bout the trees for some strange reason :? ) Yeah! we could all throw in like 5-10 bucks to cover the cost of hiring the bus and put our bike on a trailer. Full day of crazy riding. HELL YEAH.

I'm gonna org this sometime in the future after Leavers. So keep ya ears open.

On the topic of leavers yeah I'm goin down to margs for the first week 20th to 27th of Nov.

Woot, had my first run at the Goarfarm today, also went to John forrest national park, much more xc style there.

Vee brake pads are rooted after one descent, hahahaha :D. A guy on a BMX saw me clean up a small tree, :lol:

Don't stress when we don't reply to posts as quick; most of our guys are busy with uni, work, etc so we don't know what we're doing untill the last moment. Generally, if you're organising something, just keep us updated and we'll either just show up, or not...

You're lucky this weekend to expect mid 20's temperature. For future rides, I suggest organising a bit later (ie EARLIEST 3pm start) and riding 'till late. Summer's come in boy! Tomorrow's going to hit 40!

Vic gardens is a nice place to meet though; We can stick around there for a while to wait for latecomers, and it's got stuff both FR and trials riders can play on.


Oy ash; Mavic makes some BLOODY NICE rims. The D521 is INDESTRUCTIBLE for a reasonable weight. Lot of trials guys use them. May be a bit wide though; check your frame can handle it and still take the brakes. (Or did you have rear disks?). Alternatively, the Freeride 517 is pretty strong as well for a big drop in weight and size; but you'll have to be a tad more gentle on them.

I hear that. I have D-321's. These things weigh a hell of a lot, but are VERY tough. They're only about 1mm out after a few months hard thrashing.

twas a great ride, good to see there are MTBers out there, i rekon some one should write a lil reveiw on the ride(i rekon u should chuck coz u posted 1st about 2day :lol: ) and midget add the videos/photos when/if he has time,

theres some good riders out there and some good decent places 2 ride, good one fellas, looking forward 2 the next one, i must say that towards the end of the ride when there was about 5 of us some wikid riding went down as well ay chuck :D

Yeah FARKIN rub it in....

I missed you guys at the park (yes I was late) mainly due to the fact I had a puncture I needed to fix and a dirty bike to wash (cant go for a city ride with a dirty bike). I saw you lot at some stairs near TAFE (I was driving the dark red Ford XF) but by the time I parked my car and got my bike ready there was not a mountain biker in sight.

So I did the loner thing, I looked around for awhile but decided I'd just find some places to ride around by myself. Found some pretty cool stuff to so it wasnt a total loss.

Anyways sorry for not being there on time..... next ride I'll be there early hahaha
