I thought it was quite self explanatory really. Although, for a decent roll in, you should just have a hill. Provided you don't have one, maybe some ewok??

Dude, everone has seen starwars. If you knew where ewoks are from, then you will have seen the movie. Looks like you'll either have to pedal shit hard, or build a roll in out of wood. Have a look on the site for north shore tips.

Contact pool and landscaping companies and they will most likely dump the soil they get on your land, this will get you lots of dirt easily to make a run in.

yer tonka's would be an awesome way to go...but if you've got 4 trees in a nice square then yu could make the platform out of them and then make a ladder(north shore style) to go from the plattform to the ground... thats what me n my mates are doing...
hope it helps fella

seriously, you can't even fit the bike length way's on the start ramp, and i hope you moved the ramp to the top of the hill, not at the bottom....

tonka what is that platform in the tree? is that your cubby house or viewing platform, or are you going to ride on it?

well if its a rollin for jumps, build a carcass frame, with some kinda wood, not sure on dimensions, then get sheets of ply and put it around your carcass frame.
if it is gonna be in say a dh track,it would look more stylish if you gave it thatn.s look.<there has been many posts on this style so i wont go through the details of it.

You reckon? I think you are dreaming. That would cost an absolute shitload and to get the permission to do it (if it isn't your land) will be very unlikely.
The best bet to get this roll in sorted would be to get a semi tipper, back it into the spot you want, stick a ramp out of it and there you go! A roll in.;)
Honestly, if the land is flat you'd be wasting your time. Find a spot (all you have to do is look around) with a gradient and start shovelling some jumps in.
Or you could not bother at all.

Pfffttt just pedal in stuff makin all that stuff, not that it doesnt look cool. but for all the trouble your gona go to, id just crank it in!!

Yeah im thinking of doing a similar thing. Cranking in gets u shitty if ur on flat and are trying to hit like 15 foot doubles. I do think that when i eventually get around to building mine ill make it shore dirts just to valuble for jumps and i just reckon wood will be faster and smoother.
I was also thinking of bulding a drop to roll in but considering i have very flat ground at my trails its gonna be hella high once i get the roll in and the drop into it going. Any ideas?
