Sorry if this is one of those "stoooopid" questions, but...

To put a photo in a thread does it first have to be in OUR OWN album here on Farkin? Can it be a pic we've uploaded to a public gallery? Can it be a link to somewhere else on net?

no, it has to be directly uploaded onto farkin, u can post links to the photo's tho

You can post pictures from anywhere, BUT, make sure it's either on your own webspace, or you have permission to post pics.
Other websites frown upon people stealing their bandwidth.

Now this is sounding better. I'm sick of having to delete pictures from my Farkin album every time I want to post a new pic in a thread (because I keep running out of space in the Farkin album). We're currently having a photo album built onto our own site so I'll be able to use that. Thanks Rik

I've ran out of space in my personal album too, so gave up using it and just dump everything in the other albums. But yeh, linking to your own webspace is the best solution as you have the ability to manage those pictures.

i'll up the max personal pics, but if you have more you should be able to stick them in the other public categories... thats what they're there for.

That's great Scott, but I wasn't hinting at that. I'm still doing our own album on our site, but it's simply going to be our "brag book" if you like. And I didn't want to dump into the public albums but if you say it's OK I might occassionally.
