Im gauging interest here. i have been toying with this idea for a while now to get up to Narby and do some much needed repairs on the north show trail. just wondering if anybody is interested in lending some hands? As alot of you would know who have ridden up there over the last year. The track is looking pretty worn out and in desperate need of attention in some places. With a bit of a working bee we could take old Narby back to it's former glory.:) :) :)

Not a good idea unless you want ya head ripped off. Apparently this north shore is what the rangers have a problem. But if you mean repair as in remove, then go for it.

if you repair the ns it could ruin it for everyone and when everyone gets pissed off people get hurt.

but yeh if you want to make it better for all take the north shore out!!!!!

Yup, good point. I'm aware of the rangers views on this track. He has been saying for about 18 months that it is going to get ripped down. Yet it is still there. Obviously not the biggest bone of contention for him if it's still standing.
I wasn't talking of adding to the track, just fixing whats already there! Replacing planks etc etc. Nothing major.
But you are right in what you are saying. probably is best to let sleeping dogs lie.
