I am hoping to get some response from free riders in the central victorian area. i live in castlemaine, one of the more XC orientated towns in victoria, and it pisses me off. no one, except me and two mates are even slighty extrme in the hucking sense. if theres anyone around that free rides, give me an email at arsecracktheif@hotmail.com, and can compare some rides/big drops and jumps. or just reply on the site

You should be happy to live near the good riding you have. Sure there is a XC race 'scene' in Castlemaine but why does that 'piss you off' should be less traffic on the stuff you & your 2 mates want to ride? I'll be going back to Castlemaine soon for the quaility trails in the area.

this is airbourne unit, to velophile. dont get me wrong man, im not dissing XC, anything on two wheels is ok to me. all im saying is there is not much free ride focus around here, and the tracks dont really support free riding.

so go build ;)
you reap what you sow (if i was feeling cliched)
think of it this way... you and ur mate can PIONEER the scene... get out riding and others will want to join in... that's far better than just joining what's already been established!!!

As the Commander said "Go Build"
You have pine forest near by. Find out if you can build tracks in there. The local bike shop guys should know this. Build the sort of tracks YOU want to ride, take pics & post them here. Freeriders from far & wide will then turn up to ride your tracks. Instant Freeride scene, problem solved.

Hell yeah, there is plenty of potential in them there pine forest, with all the old mining around up there, i have often eyed off plenty of lines while riding up there.
