Hi!

Me and my mate have been checkin out scott usa bikes recently, and we were wondering what the general consensus was on the way they ride, handle, etc... Are they worth the money? and are they HEAVY DUTY light bikes??

Especially High Octane/High Octane FR...

Thanx!
:P

Nicklouse has alot to say about Scotts, he reckons they're good for all sorts of "freeride".

honestly, I haven't seen the Octane series in the flesh, but if their other stuff is anything to go by, they'll be great bikes, shame about the price.

evening all been away for a while.

scotts i like! the top tube length is a bit shorter than the average bike. which gives an interesting ride. sizing wise i am 175 cm and use the small-medium frame on the high octane FR (the frame is the same for both) and a medium frame on my old octane fx (xc enduro bike). there is a pic of the FR in my sig any questions just mail me!
