hey guys ,
just got a few questions .
me and a few mates have recently just cleared out an area of about 40 metres long and about 5 - 10 metre's wide . what would be the best set up to make .
eg small first jumps then bigger ?
big first jump then smaller ?

we have recently started using sandbags . we build up the sides and back with the bags then fill the cube with dirt then the jump is pretty much made after shaped . we recently payed $110 for 1000 sandbags . does anyone have a better idea ? logs didnt seem to work as well as the bags and we seem to strugglle getting the jumps big with just dirt ..

we would love to now about some of your ideas .

thanks heaps ,

dunno for construction, but if you had a line of smaller doubles, then a 180 degree bank into a roller then some bigger ones, you could turn it into something of a loop, so you can continue riding them. I can't imagine the size, but it sounds a bit restricted.

i would build 3 sets of doubles a small one to start with and then a larger one at the back and do you have enough room for a roll in or how do you speed??

build 3 or 4 big doubles and leave enough room between each to stop easily if you fuck up. sounds like you can have bulk speed from the run in so make use of it, make them big. 180 degree berm will just be exhausting. slightly smaller jumps as you go because you lose speed each time right? if you dont want to pedal much make each one slightly smaller, that way you can session all day and improve your skills, without worrying about getting tired.

What about having a smallish speed/pump jump first off followed by a set 3 or 4 big doubles, making sure the last jump is easy to hit, as your last jump should be something you can try new tricks on then just make a desent 180' burm after the last one to head you back to the start
