hey i dont live in geelong but i know some good places there. if your asking for street it's as easy as eastern beach/water front (near smorgys) it has some great stairs and drops to huck and all sorts of street obstacles that are fun.

There used to be alot of stuff along the Barwon River up towards Fyansford, a lot of "shore" and gaps, a few Dj's too; that the "fastrider" crew put together years ago. Haven't been along there in ages but I am pretty sure some of the jumps and gaps remain.

We found some of it (the remains). All the stuff we saw had been knocked down and was definately not ridable.

how much i'd like to tell u that its still there, but the council destroyed all of the tracks about 4 months back, a real shame really, they were really well made tracks and dirt jumps :(

Anyone know of how much is left there right now? I haven't been down there since the start of this year....
I might go again soon, if i know it's worth it to do that.
Lucco, you say "theres a couple of gaps at deakin uni waurn ponds"
I pretty much live there - what gaps you like out here?
The little stair gap in the student res area is pretty cool, as well as the drop down on the (bottom) sports oval.
Any others you know of that I may have missed?
Otherwise I just ride some of the stairs and practise a few other little streety moves.

yep pretty much just the ones you mentioned, i only go there when im at ponds and need some stair drop action. just watch out for security guards, been chased by that arrogant wang so many times...
Never been hassled by Security. My girlfriend is the Resident Manager of the Management Centre, and we have to deal with security on other issues, so if they see me riding, they generally just wave!

Well i went to the river, and it's been pretty messed up. They even fenced off a whole area where i knew were some awesome jumps. They put up some signs saying that some rabbit poison test was being held. But i knew that it had to have something to do with the jumps too :p.
The fence also extends to cut off the runoff of the old college drop, so you'd have to be fuckin good at stopping if you wanted to do it :p. I didn't get to check out the actual drop though....not enough time.
And pretty much everything that was built by people around there have been destroyed. But the actual down hill tracks are still there. Just all the platforms people have made are gone.
I have photos if anyone's interested....
Yeah mate, chuck your pics up!
