3 piece Cranks

i am doin up my old bmx bike and i need a pair of 3 piece cranks.
Dont really wanna spend over $50, but only BRISBANE please.

Is this a post where you are asking people to sell you 3 peice cranks?
If yes it should be in the 'Wanted' forum.

If you change your mind and want to spend more I would recommend something along the lines of Profile, Primo, ect.
Profile 3 peice cranks are backed by a lifetime warrentee so they will probably last you forever.

if the bmx is too old it'll be hard to track down a set of cranks for it. Is it looseball? If so i have only ever seen one set of three peice looseballs. If not then its propably pressed. which are easier to locate.

As you can see, new and good 3 pc cranks are fairly expensive, so if you need to buy some you should probably buy 2nd hand (and I can't help you there).

You said you were doing up an 'old' bmx. Does this mean that you will be riding the bike a lot (ie skatepark, street, dj etc)? Or is it more of a home project sort of thing to make the bike look really cool. If the latter, and you already have 1 pc cranks just leave them/paint them. But thats just my opinion.

It would also help to know what type of bottom bracket you have.
