had a go of a big hit not sure which one .... not the sigle pivot one.....
i liked it alot......
but i have never ridden the other one so i wouldnt no which is better....
but i loved the bighit
definately go for the big hit expert
more travel in the rear very versaitle and more adjustable to suit the type riding youll be doing
i think the specialized frame is more bombproof and rides bloody excellent
component wise there isnt anything that swings it one way or the other
see if you can ride both to see which one suits you
peachy

u'd be silly not to go the expert... the fuse retails at $3800 and the expert retail at $4700...
specizlied has a much nicer more burly frame, better rear shock and better build overall... get the specialized u will be really happy with it, specially getting it for that price.
i haven't ridden the expert for a long period of time but after riding a mates on light DH, urban, jumping i'd say for that price you can't go wrong. Much more versatile and if you break that frame you shouldn't be riding!
*waits fro someone to tell me they've broken one of those frames*

haven't personally heard anything bad about it..
check out the review - http://www.mtbr.com/reviews/Rim/product_89148.shtml
4.07 / 5.00 isn't bad... but take into consideration that half the people don't know what they are talking about

I'm sure they're fine they are spec'd on many decent bikes.

That expert is a mad bike and specd well and for 3800 its even better.
Also bighit frames are porno
I was looking at the bighit before i got my ac1 and i think i may end up with a bighit frame though i know its so overkill for me but is it just me or does the demo nine give you wood, though all the smalls are sold out and wont be more till march
Ok so maybe i like my bikes alittle too much

thats disturbing.

It seems a bit pointless basing your bike choice on the rim it is specced with. Especially for a FR bike which you will probably go through a few rims anyway, regardless of make.
Although I haven't ridden a fuse I do own a Big Hit DH, and they are an extremely awesome bike.

it all depends on what level of riding your up to, i mean if your doing big drops and such then id go the specialized.
