When something doesn't warrant an immediate temporary or permanent ban from one of Farkin's Moderators or Admins, people can now be given an infraction for bad behavior and breaking the site rules etc.
Each different infraction carries a certain points value and lasts for a certain number of days. For example, unnecessary potty mouth might earn you 2 points for 10 days. At the end of that 10 days the points are removed and the slate is cleaned, however, if other infractions are given to that member during that time and the points add up to 5 then automatic bans kick in.
Just like soccer really... yellow card, red card, fark off.
