We went riding last weekend and it was a little wet which means really dirty, since I'm the one holidays I got stuck cleaning all the bikes. But I must admit this is the type of washing I prefer to see on the line!!

sorry to grave dig but isnt it bad to hose down your bike? like wouldnt water get in your bb and shit.
or do you just re-lube every thing after?

You can hose down your bike if the water pressure is just a light spray. Like you're watering the flowers, y'know?:)

Only if you do it on Wednesdays and Sundays after 4pm :D

Most bearing parts on bikes are pretty well sealed, just don't direct the spray hard against the seals and you'll be fine.

They were also stripped back to a bare frame not long afterwards. And I don't think I hosed them, I went over them with a bucket, sponge, soft brush and a tooth brush. We here in brisbane aren't allowed to use a hose, ever!!
