that berm pic is now on my desktop (that means me like).
excellent photos and nice looking bike, though ever since i saw shaums march get buried at the red bull ride after his chumba frame snapped, i have been a little disheartened towards the company.

Nice Ryan, good riding in the shots too. Always liked the frame when I saw one in TC's last year, so purdy and differnet.

There is one; the "click here to see the geometry" link points to that exact URL.

Shaums' crash was actually caused by an old front wheel which collapsed on landing. I don't think that there would be too many frames that would survive a launch like that with a front wheel collapse.
So if you are deciding whether or not to buy a Chumba F4 it is probably best to ignore what happen to Shaums that day.
I think the review is spot on. The bike is light and meant for racing. The linkage bushes do wear, but if you have them set up right and rebuild them completely when worn you can get a decent life out of them. Also replacing the bolts with Ti versions does help.
Enjoy.
Great review, and excellent action shots to match. Good to see farkin going review crazy again, plus I hear sam hill's got nothing on your drifting ryan...

Thanks dudes, thats me riding. But Ryan insists that it's his mad photography skillz that make the photo.

It's good to see Chumba back in the game. A few years ago a ton of people were riding them in the States, and then they were just gone one day. Nice shots, by the way!

i really liked this review in particular its honesty with regards to the weaknesses of the bike. i wish all of the aussie mags would follow suit in their reviews too.

i was finally compeled to read about it.ive become a bit of a fan of chumba wumba after seeing Duncan Riffle and Shaums March riding them in plush 2.now that i should hopefully be getting a new dh bike at the end of the year, this will definitely be a considered bike for me.:)
