hey man, if you're after a cheap pitbull, talk to Owen#66 on farkin, he's selling one real cheap
yer im buying it from him. hav u seen it/ridden it?
i have no clue wat the budget is going to be but im just buying parts as i get money, so i dont want to be saving up for like a year to buy a 800 dollar Chris King hub if ya know wat i mean

Frame:Zoo Pitbull
Fork: echo pures, black zoo! ones or the famous no name black rigids
Front Hub: anything cheap and light, hope XC's are good.
Front Rim: (green)
Front Tire:Maxxis Minion Front
Rear Hub: you want seomthing reliable and with decent engagement. If you can't afford CK then either Hope pro II trials or the cheaper Hope XC
Rear Rim: (green)
Rear Tire:Maxxis Minion Rear
Front Brake: Disk imo is better. Avid bb7.
Rear Brake:Magura (frame has specific mounts)
Handlebars:Koxx Try-All Bars (black)
Stem:Koxx Stock Stem (105mm)
Head Set: Pig pro for cheap and reliable, Best is obviously CK
Grips:ODI Lock-Ons
Crankset: Middleburn ?? they are fairly expensive though and judging by your bashguard you are using normal MTB cranks. Raceface turbines if you can still find them.
Pedals: I love me shimano DX's, I've never liked the caged pedals.
Chain: KMC kool
Rear Cassette:SS (some sort of tensioner)
Rear Derailleur:
Rear Shifter:
Bottom Bracket: my truvativ team DH has been great
Bash Guard:RB Design Trial 5 (Black)
Gear Ratio:22-18
Colour Scheme: who cares..
Thats how I would build it, obviously depending on how much you spend you can have better parts here and there. But definitely don't cheap out on hubs. Good luck with the build sounds good so far.

i havent actually seen it. i believe it's stripped, he just was trying to sell it to me
what are good rims??? that i could preferably get in green???
For rims, the new Echo ones seem to be ok. Some people have complained of flatspotting etc.
Either way, they come in green.
other ressurection sorry........... i just think making a new thread wouldnt be worth it
what about a 5* rise stem 100mm long???? would that be suitable for trials?

na that stem sounds fine....but, you can get used to that either way...
Rims, my Aorta Rims, you can get Disc or non disc, eyeletted, Ano Green and yeah, all strong (no complaints that i know of)
Cranks, yeah cheapies from me too
yeah im getting some FSA el toros they only $110 i dont need pro cranks because i cant even pedal kick yet:p

Perhaps give those heavy atomlab rims a miss.....
Echo or Aorta would be a good choice though I have seen both take a beating....
I'd say if you are a beginner, forget about the rest and get yourself an Alex DX32.... They are tough as buggery, perfect for beginners, and you could always paint one green if you so wished.... looking at about $60 retail in Aus (with eyelets) for them and I have a couple at work if you get stuck.....

I second Adam's recommendation on the DX32 for a rear rim (although i think he only has one left as I bought the other one :) ) Front not sure but Echo or similar trials specific would be the way to go.
That stem sounds about right. I have a 5deg 105mm stem on my Echo control which is about right. Leave the steerer a little longer than you need to so that you can adjust the bar height with a spacer or two also.
I have had a DX32 for 3? years. Over 50 grinds, 95kg worth of rider, very unsmooth ugly riding and no problems at all with it.
It also would have to do with the quality of build too.
how bout i just get tryall wheelsets from my good ol' ben benny:p
they should last me for ages and they seem to be relatively cheap
i think i might just go for a XC stem instead of a trials-specific one because theyre pretty much the same right?

Yeah TryAlls are pretty sweet.... I've been running a rear one for about 2 years, almpst time for a fresh one though..... I'd be a bit wary of the single wall fronts if I was a beginner but other than that, they should be sweet...... :D
sounds good;)
now where to get about $500........................hmmm........
In terms of stems, just try and make sure you get a four, not a two bolt. :)
