ok well i went to check out the fit flow at my local bike shop (abc bikes) and they were sold out, bummer, but one of the guys there said that they were ordering in 07 fit flows. now i thought 06 and 07 were the same sort of bike, but he said that the 07 has got a chrome rear wheel and a few more little upgrades, and the price is going up as well.
so i wanted to know if there is actually 07 fit flows or is the bike shop guy just going to be upgrading the bike himself?
so if anyone knows could you please enlighten me
Yeah, I have the latest 2020 mag, it writes about the Fit Flow 2007:
"For 07 Fit have a range of brakeless bikes, not sure how this one is going to get around the Australian design rules but either way if you don't run brakes, here's a complete bike for you. Setup wise its all cromo w/integrated headset and mid BB, you get solid looking cromo 3 pc cranks and a cassette hub, plus S&M pedals and seat."
Im not too sure but I think all of the flows are brakeless for 07, and there is no flow street. In the picture of the Flow, it looks exactly the same as the Flow street for 2006 except it has animal asm tires and different stickers and paintjob (dull black, looks much better for 07 IMO).
But...
On page 45 for those of you who have the mag, there is an ad for the 'Fit 07 Trail complete', which looks to have the same spec as the Flow 06 (so yes, it has a brake). I assume it pictures the trail 07 with a black rear rim to make it look better, I'm not sure what sort of rim it really comes with.
I'm not sure on any of the prices either.
Just in case all that was too confusing, I think:
The 06 Flow street has become the 07 Flow
&
The 06 Flow has become the 07 trail
Hope I helped.

I read the mag, and hadnt noticed the fact they were the new flows at all really! Thanks for clearing things up X. New models dont look as good as 06 IMO

Yeah, I reckon the Fit Trail looks ugly, with maronne bars and forks and a raw frame. Though I do like the look of the 07 Flow..

07 Fit Flow Park model looks interesting, but street and trail bikes are much of the same as 06.
06 Street model is still the duck nuts.

does anyone know/have any clue how the trail would perform on the street/parks?
the street and the trail don't seem to be that much different besides the trail having a brake and different tyre it looks. wondering if the geometry would be any different or if there the same.

different names really are a bit of a wank. Trail would be fine street and park. THey're all essentially the same bike, with very few differences.
