Dirtjumps sounds like Ballarat, or Eltham area in NE Melbourne. North Shore, check the trails database for Regional Victoria.

There are ALOT of good jumps around eltham/diamond creek. There used to be some good ones at Waurn Ponds not sure whether they have been maintained or not though

how many jumps have they rebuilt there? Are the putting the rollin away from the road and running em theoppisite way to what they used to be, before the road got built straight through em.

they are goin the same direction. the roll-in is rightnext to the road. its reeeealy high and steep but i dont think that you will get enough speed.. the jumps are too close to the roll-in and huuuuuugeeeeee!!
there is 3 lines with 3 jumps in each.
we went to ballarat a few times. it rocks there. ben was the only one doin the big xavier jumps. next time we go we'll be hittin up the big road gap at black hill 4 sure!

i'll still amke valonia, but 6ft kicks and 20ft gaps + a rollin sounds to good to be true. bit smaller than diamo

the kicks at diamo are only 5ft... and the big gap is 20ft too (I was pretty sure it was 18, you reckoned it was 22, so say 20 for now).

What about Windsor Siding? Its still a long way from Geelong but it might be easier to get to. Theres some pretty good jumps there, especially after all the work that been done lately.

where abouts is that?

Sic

Its in Windsor, which is the next suburb over from Prahran on the Sandringham train line. You get off at Windsor station and thats pretty much it. The jumps are directly behind the station next to an oval and a playground, you should be able to see them from the station platform, the closet street is Union. Heres a map, its the block of green just above and to teh left of Windsor. Theres some good jumps and usually a decent amount of cool people down there.

Sorry that was a pretty shitty response to teh who are you question. When I say newbie I mean to teh forum and relatively to the MTB scene, Im actually pretty old. So if you see an old man on a Gt Ruckus riding around Prahran or jumping badly down at Windsor thats me.

Sic

Nope. Psylos and Avid disc front (6) and arch rivals on the back, its the older Ruckus, 2001 I think.
