im looking at buying a monty ex hydra the crome lookin one apparently its the last model to be cromoly and was wondering if for 300-350 if it was a good deal and what i should look for when i test ride it

any monty for 300-350 is a good deal, when u test it, make sure the brakes work well, nothing is loose and the wheels are relatively straight (if it's secondhand)

ahhhh.....actually make sure the wheels are almost perfectly straight if its a rim brake because that might not be good if the brake catches when youre riding

I'd be looking for cracks... Especially around the bottom bracket and head tube areas... Other than that, like the other guys said, decent brakes and rims that aren't wrecked
