Hey guys, just after some advice.

I want to get into BMX, I previously owned a downhill and a hardtail, I did some street riding with the hard tail so I'm not a totaly newbie, but have never ventured into the BMX world.

I'm currently in Italy, soon to be in the UK (I think) and am going insane without a bike. Money and location are what's stopping me getting a bike like my old ones.

What I'd like to know is what should I be looking at for a bike to start off with? Basically I just want to stuff around trying tricks out. Can you offer any brands/models/componants I should look out for? My budget is $400, any advice in general would be great.

Cheers

Im not too sure but a 07 Gt bump might be okay, just dont get anything that has less than 3pc cranks.... Unless you wanna die... Try looking into a wethepeople addict 2nd hand, they make pretty nice bikes.
Ive got a dimondback venom 06 and its pretty nice, i could drop it off a freakin cliff and it would still work. Its a okay bike... Cept i dont know a hell of a lot so maybe get someone more experienced helpin you, thats just what i think tho.

the 8pak is a decent bike for the money. but if you want a good bike for that price range you would be better off buying a secondhand one, the only concern with this is the bikes quality after 1+ years. eithter way i wish you the best of luck with aquireing a top Bmx bike, please let us know what you get when you do.
