I'm just getting into trials i.e. I just learnt pedal hops and am doing some phat (I think) gaps around the place but I was wondering if there are any little tips that you could share.

The kind of tips that you wish you knew when you were just starting out.

Thanks.

tip 1: log on to the Brisbane forum http://bbtc.proboards40.com/index.cgi? or visit http://www.expressivebikes.com
to find out more about the QLD trials scene.

tip 2: come to the comp at Mt Tamborine this Sunday, the best way to improve is to ride with other trials riders. Otherwise try and get out for a street ride with some of the local Brisbane lads.

To compete you need:

1) A bike
2) A helmet
3) About $25 (less if you have an MTBA licence)

Shame you can't make it this weekend. Keep checking the website and hopefully you can make it out early 2007.

Or simply tag along with our weekly rides either the Gold Coast or Brisbane!

You can find info about this on the Expressivebikes.com forum, the sticky thread in the organise rides (better call or txt us or so)
