Hey guys,
I've just picked up riding in the last month and would love to eventually get into Dh and 4X but need a lot more practise! I am usually labeled the typical blonde dumbass and really want to push myself with this just to prove to myself I can get there!

I really have no idea what the hell I'm doing on a bike but love the feeling once i'm on one. I bought an STP 1 just to start off and i guess what I'm asking for is a little help!

I live in melbourne and have started riding mainly bmx tracks but as I am small am finding it hard to use my bike in the manner it must be used, especially to jump! I read one post about clinics that you guys have and I would be very interested in coming to them.
Also as I'm new i don't really have anyone to ride with as the guys I know are very impatient! Could you please tell me where i should be learning to ride (tracks, runs etc) and also is there anyone willing to spend a little time riding with me to help me grasp the basics?
Would help heaps!

Hi row,

I know of you through trev, heard youd been rideing at knox with phil and the boys.

bmx track wise anything will do, the only thing that will make you ebtter is practice! mayeb some upper body defineing as well. Just to help as the lack of muscle most girls have can be an issue.

Speaking dh, some easier tracks are you yangs (the easiest track if you have to push up) and you could even try long gully ride nights (resumes 1st feb).
There is also some jumps and basic single track at the bottom of mount dandenong that could be good for you to.

As far as clinics go we only have xc ones running which may benefit you a bit with basic skills but not the the full dh thing.

Hope this helps
