Wafreeride.com Hacked

Hi guys, Just a brief message to let you all know that in the early hours of 6th January 2007 wafreeride.com was hacked.


Justin [Karnage] has informed me that the database was getting smaller and smaller every minute. Even the website it self took ages to load, so it was obvious that something was happening. Right now everything has been lost, we do have a backup of the database from approximately three weeks ago which contains all registered users and all posts/topics, however the user database is full of spam users, so we may start from scratch with a much more secure forum system.

Yeah, I wondered what was happening. This is a bit weird, as another WA based surfing website was hacked just in time for christmas. The ASL site (Morrison Media) has been experiencing spam floods as well. Hope you get the site restored soon.
