Brisbane DH?

Hey guys,
I just got a new dh bike and really want to go shutteling and do some dh runs on it. I might be able to orgainise shuttels either taking up 5 other peple up the mountail or maby few bikes in our ute but yeah i dont care bout shuttelds if they cant happene. I was thinking cootha would be good. Cause we know the trakcs well. But yeah what are you guys doind ? Any time in the next few days would be sweet for me . Thanks guys

Sweet what time and where?? I am possibly going to the beach onwednesday night. But i dont want to. Cause i want to teain fr nationals. But it's only for a week. So yeah i'm up for some runs. You shutteling or pushing?

Yeah,,,still room at this point, but cramming quickly.

hoping to be there at around 7.30-8.00(ish) in the morning at Simpson falls car park.

Yeah i should be there. Might be going to the beach at like 9am wednesday but so maby not. But i think i will. bout 85% sure.

Yeah TJump,,,you got a spot no probs...we have about 10 people all up now , but like last time, some pulled out so easy-peasy even if no one pulls out this time.

have to be at Simpson falls car park by 8.00 am wed morn (New Years eve)

& we`ll hit Deanos for about 5 or 6 runs to start with, & then wherever else after that.

i`m sharing the driving of the Monster truck with Stew so you have to all spare us a thought that every 6 runs means we only get 3 each ok???

that`s why i`d like to learn Deanos a bit better & do a few runs there to start with, then anywhere else after wards if that`s ok with everyone.

Yep i'm there on my new Fluid. Cant wait. Denos is my favriout run on cootha anyway. I'll chuck in a few bucks for petrol as well. I will have to leave at like 12:45 if it's not over by then to be able to get to the beach. Looking forward to it.

Wicked ride!!!...

9 of us hit up Cootha today & AWSOME

Tjumper, Dillon, Emmett, turley, Jess dawg, Dj, Mark, Loopy Luke, & me,,,while Stew drove the monster truck,,,what an Awsome ride,,,cleaned up on Danos, Ch10 & Euginea (whatever it`s called) rode the rock face without even a dab down,

thanks guys,,,,loved it & didn`t even step off ths thing this time. WICKED!!!!

Not that can say the same for Mark,,,poor little Bmxer was groaning under the strain & he did some gnarly face planting onto logs & stuff...don`t think he`s got a limb without gornches/blood including his face...OOOWWWweeeee!!!!!

& then Emmett & the tree...well...not a cheap or painless ride for him,,,bent trailing arm & maybe even the frame & a bent/bone bruised hip bone & maybe corked leg to boot,,,OOOWWWweeeee!!!!

cheers for the balls out approach tho Emmett,,,you da man!!!

Yeah,,,still pumped mate!!!,,,can`t believe hpw good a ride it was. I`m putting my bike into "Life Cycles" for the front forks to be fixed & a full service tomorrow, but Stews new bike might be here monday(ish) hopfully so we might be able to hit Cootha again early next week maybe.

I`ll drive this time & Stew can wear in his new rig.

I have to wait till my bike`s fixed,,,the forks are going back to marzocchi for warrantee.

have to wait & see what`s happening with Stew`s new bike too,,,comming from townsville , should be here late next week, fastrax F3 DH with all the good sh!t...long travel dual crownies,shock works rear, hydros, etc etc etc

I`m in Murarrie but Cootha is not a long drive , easy-peasy really,,,have monster truck will travel.

thinking about a road trip to Buller or thredbo or somewhere like that for a week or 2 maybe...somewhere there`s chairlift anyways,,,old farts like me don`t like pedalling...if i had my way, i`d save the weight of the pedals & toss em away & just have pegs to stand on :-)
