I have to admit to being a bit of a Hans Rey fan, not because he is a trials rider but because he is an all round mountaibiker. I like his adventure concept and the fact that he provides a cross over between mountain biking and trials.

If you like that vid you should try and get the full length version on DVD.

I saw Hans Rey live when came to the World Cup Race in 1994 in Cairns. He was a funny bastard as well. He got a girl from the crowd asked her to lay down and spread her legs he then jumped the bike of a table and landed the back wheel between her legs and hovered the front inches from her face, then started to bounce. I can't remember the commentary but it there was a lot of innuendo.

Yep Leaps and Bounds is a great film, I've got the trailer on my website in the products section in anyone hasn't seen it:

http://www.expressivebikes.com/media/leapsbounds.wmv

I thought his section in Leaps and Bounds was a real highlight of the movie. It is pretty cool when he is going through all his old frames and trophies.

The rest of the film is awesome as well, with some really great riding. I like to re-watch Danny Holyroyd's and Ryan Leech's section and the Coustillier brothers section is great.

Did any of you guys see the vid's and pic's of him and Steve Peat riding along those cliffs? It was insane. He even pulled an endo about 1 foot from the edge:eek:

somebody sent me some stills from that scene and I instantly dismissed them as 'photoshopped' ... no farkin way I thought (plus the light just didn't look right anyway) who would do that on the edge of a precipice in foggy misty shitty weather ...

Then the other day I'm watching the dvd off MBUK and ... what the ----?

They are seriously disturbed
