nice one, like the clean colour scheme it has happening, personally tho i'd crack out the big black nikko and colour in those tyre sidewalls.
Those reflecters are aftermarket, had to import them from taiwan.
Apart from the reflectors and tyres, its all stock.
Rides well :) Though the brakes are a bit weak, think the pads r fkd.
No way am I colouring in my rice sidewalls :D

How old is the bike? If it's new, the brakes still need to bed in... they'll get better.

sometimes it takes a loooong time to bed in brakes, go ride down some long steep hills and brake lots...

Or dont brake and have alot more fun ;)
Nah, believe me, they should be bedded in by now. Spoke to Carso and he said that its probably contamination from corrosives, he said RP7, WD40 and shit like that can do it, might take a photo of my pads if anyone is willing to help me out ??

how long have u actually ridden the bike for but, cause it took about a week when i had new pads in my hayes, in the end i just got my mate to push me along with the brakes nearly on fulll it worked a treat
ridden it for probably 40 hours at least, trust me, they should be worn in ;)
would it helped if i posted a pic of my pads ? could u post a pic of yours ? im new 2 discs so if i can see what is good and what is bad, it should give me a better idea,
thx

have u been spraying wd40 anywhere near it, cause that wrecked a mate of mines pads so his brakes are really really crappy. ive heard that putting them in the oven burns out all the oil out of them, but it ight be to late

i once got a bit of wd40 on my rotors, I didn't realise till i braked... and it didn't work too well. I rubbed metho on the rotor, took the pads out and burnt em on the gas stove for a while to burn off any oily substance, they worked fine afterwards...
Cook em ay,
Should I use my new set of pads I got ? Also, is there any chance of fucking the new pads, like should I clean the rotor or something to make sure the new pads don't get corroded as well ?

they aint corroded theve just absorbed the oil and it wrecks the resin in the pads i think, u might as well try burnin the shit off and if that doesnt work put the new pads in
Ok, how should i burn em, stove oven lighter what ?
:D:D:D:D:D
Stuck my new pads in, and theyre awesome. So much power :D
Manuals are piss :)
Soo stoked, just hope these ones dont corrode.. :S

Well, did two things to fix up the other sasquatch. 1, Got some isopropyl alcohole and cleaned the discs then got the tac powder, all fine and dandy now! :)

some teflon type stuff i guess... Your best bet from the start is to get some decent cables/outers and run them full length, to avoid easy contamination.

my new Sas's brakes were bedded after my ride on Tuesday afternoon, and I bought it on Tuesday.... good brakes...
I'd say you have contamination..
tilt that seat back too!!!
I know, I to need to tilt that seat :P
I did have contamination, if you read the whole thread (personally I wouldn't its all bs) basically, little brother (great kid that he is....) went nuts with the RP7 in the garage, quite closed up, and thats what contaminated the pads.. Got some new ones, but wasn't sure if the pads were fkd or not, so I just left em be for a while, anyway, after going over the back a few times trying 2 mono (they were weak, especially when they had heaps of pressure on them, so like if I tried to wheelie, and started to go over, I'd really have to rip them on, which after a long time gets hard, and eventually hitting the bitumen is a more desireable option) I decided that the pads were really fucken pathetic. Ripped them out, and thats what you see in the pic, I think its a page back. Anyway, I already had some new pads that I had bought but not put in, so I put em in, and went for a small ride, like 1hr, not even, anyway, after that they were fkn sweet :D
Moral = RP7 BAD
