Dear Farkers,

That's it from me!


I am no-longer running Meet The Farkers. As much as I enjoy it, I have just reached the point where education and film-making together fill up all of my time, leaving none for MTF or a few other things I used to do (like riding a bike :o - not really, I'll always find tme for that).

HOWEVER, Dozer has come through and proven himself as a true legend among us mortals.

Dozer will from now on be carrying the Farkers flag, the only changes being MTF will now be bi-weekly, rather than weekly. This was a change I had always planned to do as soon as we had established the forum properly. I wish you well Dozer, From what I've seen when you filled in for me when I was away etc. it'll be a piece of piss for you!


I do want to publically ridicule Scott though - I sent him two or three question sheets, each time after he promised to get it done, and he still hasn't been MTF'd. eh, I guess he does enough as it is though.:p
also, Jared Graves took 3/4 months to get his answers back to me :eek: (there's something about townsville)


So, I bid you farewell!

Once again I have to thank and congatulate Demo Man for his efforts with Meet The Farkers. This section of farkin is a spot where any member can come along and read about some very interesting people in our sport of MTB. Demo Man has introduced us to some weird and wonderful creatures that roam around here and hopefully I can keep that tradition going.
Demo Man had told me his situation with his time commitments and when he asked if I could take over.........I jumped at it. I will not change too many things about MTF but some interesting things and people will come along. As Demo Man said we will be doing an interview each fortnight now instead of weekly, that way we can make it more exclusive.
To the Farkers that have been interviewed.....well done. To the future Farkers.......good luck!
If anyone has any suggestions feel free to PM me and we'll talk it through.
Thanks Demo Man and good luck with your future. We all know it is a bright one!


By the way Demo, you said it took a long time and in some cases you never got the answers from some people. I have to let you know that next week's farker got the material back to me overnight! That is how it will roll around here now that the heavy machinery is working.;)
