Hey any of you girls off to Mt Beauty for the final of the National season?

unfortunatly no.......... badly planned holiday..couldnt realy take itany other time. how ever i will be dhilin were im goin!:)

I will be there for sure. I can't wait. The last time I was there it was pouring for a month before and it was just slushy crap. Hopefully it will be better this time. Hope to see lots of girls there, ripping it up down the hill.

like Top two qualifiers are Emma McNaughton and Jo Foxy Fox
Close behind ..

The rest of the field is sitting at best 10-12 seconds behind
the two so looks like an exciting finnish for the Girls ..

They are heading up for there final runs @ 4 so send your

Joanne -Foxy - Fox 3RD - 4.23

Joanne said the track was real tough for the final runs and she had
a shocker with a few off's on the run and was verry happy to have made
back 3rd place by the bottom ..

SUPER well done to all the Girls - Lets now wait for the Team anouncements
for the worlds in Scotland now that the Season is over ..

Sorry to intrude but does anyone have an update on how Julia Martin's going?

For those that weren't there, she had a nasty off (big understatement) and did a fair bit of damage to her foot.

Jules is going ok. :(
A bit drugged up and sore as you would expect. She is still at Albury hospital and hopefully she can get a flight here to Adelaide and claim it under her health insurance. :)

She has had surgery and got a few pins and plates inserted. They are worried about infection because it was a compound fracture (she was feinding off the ants with a stick after it happened......).

I went and saw her on Sat night and she is looking pretty good considering. No other injuries, just the leg (tibia and fibia).

She is a trooper, she will be alright :)

just an update on jules.

she has done a tour of the Adelaide hospitals over the last month.
On monday this week she was allowed to go home - finally!! :)

Its all fairly complicated stuff with her leg, but being home is a great start for things to look up!
