Looks like everyone had a good day today at the 4X in Lobb St Ippy. Congrats to the Farkin boys Lindsay (A Grade) and Dom (Sport). For their placings in the finals. Also young Psyco Miko who qualified 3rd up against the big boys (A Grade) but was unfortunately taken out in his heat by another rider. Great job by the Ippy guys on the track, it rocked. Look forward to more racing their in the future.

Glad to see everyone had such a good time make sure you all get out for the next races Remember NRG club races are always on the last w'end of the month, and it looks like from all the positive comments from the 4x we'll have dh,xc one month and 4x,xc the next.
Thanks Nathan .. good racing to man .. everyone went hard it was really close.
Physco Miko .. you were railing dude .. unlucky not to have won the A grade i though .. definately one of the fastest there .. Lindsay also proved that 222's pedal better then most DH bikes .. Schooling alot of riders on his DH rig. The Stinky held up nicely .. im happy with it's handling and it jumps pretty well. I like the forgivingness of a Dually in sections like Woops and stuff where if you were to bash on a hardtail you know about it. It was cool.
I was bummed about the final .. i could of had a chance of taking the win for once in my life .. but racing is racing and i was forced into the inside line .. just like I forced the poor dude in my 2nd last heat hahah so i got what i dished out earlier ..
It was good fun though and was worth the Early Bloody cold i might add drive to Ispwich.
Although Gav at some points looked a little stressed with placements and just dodgeyed things up to work hahaha .. it ran well and everyone got a good run.
NRG club races always Rule.

Not to mention the guy who destroyed me in my last race just before the whoops...
My shoulder fucking hurts.
Other than that, it was a rad morning, and I'll definitely be at the next one...

Was he in black racing gear ?
yeah he was cranking .. dont know how but i blocked him out on the first double  i was waiting for him to smash past me.
Was that you Sx that got slammed on the big berm just before the Whoops ? that looked nasty

matt told me he didn't mean to take you out you just got in the way ,once the big fella gets going he has problems slowing down, that is his first ever 4x race ,when he steps up to A grade i will be watching out for him.
I work for matt at the motorbike shop,if he gets in a race with me im putting him over a berm (unless he pays me to lose )

Yeah that was me. I was in front...and then I was on the ground. That's about it.
That was my first 4x race aswell...I'm pretty happy with myself. My first run was my qualifying run, then I got 1 practice run in, won my first heat, 3rd in the 2nd heat, and DNF'd the last. First time I've dirt jumped the MTB, too.
