This instalment of Meet The Farkers should be read with some very loud music playing and some bright lights flashing......Those of you that have had the pleasure of meeting Pyley will know what I mean, or those who haven't......Meet Pyley!

Who are you? (Name, age, job etc) :
Well my parents named me Brett Anthony Jones, I'm 18 with 11 years experience and I like to blow up machines... then fix them... I also take guys riding...
Why did you become a member of Farkin?
Because I believe it not only gives me a great social outlet, but it also makes me more attractive to the opposite sex...
What made you choose that username?
Well after being banned for my big mouth, I made a keyboard error and pylet turned to pyley!
What’s your favorite section of Farkin and why?
Girls only
Tell us about Pylet and what it offers to MTB...
"The Pylet / Bike Shed / UFO MTB Imports Team" is an amateur team located in Sydney’s western suburbs. We ride every weekend and any days we have off - Over the past two years we have been working with WSMTBC track building and assisting with event organization.. We also have representatives on both WSMTB and NSW STATE committee’s...
The team has had a lot of good times this year with many Podiums at Club, State and National level. We also have one of the best elite women in Australia (Joanne Fox) riding on our team. The team spirit and internal competitiveness combined with the atmosphere created by our unruly members creates a perfect environment for all to exceed personal goals and set new ones on a regular basis
We basically love the sport of MTB and we want everyone to be able to enjoy the thrill of mountain biking as much as we do.
We are also trying to secure land for a new mountain bike park in Sydney’s west...
Pylet is well known for it’s loud shuttling at events. Any funny moments?
Ha yeah, I'd say the best shuttle was up in banana country (Coffs Harbour). The elites had just finished their final runs, we were up at the table top, everyone ran for the bus... people were entering via windows and not a shred of room was left... we drove ever so carefully down to the bottom (cough, cough) and 27 people jumped out of my twelve seater... it's still a shuttling record to this day...
What is the best music Pylet plays during shuttles that fires a rider up? System of a Down seems to get everyone going, but any fast happy punk normally does the trick and just a bit of Michael Bolton
The Pylet website is well and truly underway. Is it worth a look?
Na, it's just a heap of photo's and vids from club, state, national events and weekend rides, some really funny stacks, but, nothing really worth seeing!

Best and worst MTB moments?
Best:
Foxy getting the Aussie arm band in Canberra! yeeoooowwww! Foxy's number 1! Worst: Hitting the deck at Thredbo at warp speed on my 'last run' just after Kelvin O'Connor told me to go and rest or I'll hurt myself... I seem to be jinxed quite a lot!
If you could add extra appeal for riders and spectators to race weekend,
what would it be?
I believe trackside PA speakers would be good, so spectators can hear the commentary. Inspiring 'A' lines, not big, MASSIVE!. A camera set up on the major crash zones piped to the finish line big screen TV would be great, I love stacks. but most of all, strippers after elite finals to keep everyone there till the prezzo time
How do you see the Aussie mountain bike scene changing in the future? Hopefully see some real freeride events coming our way soon...nudge nudge wink wink
When will you stop riding, and why?
Hopefully never, I'm too passionate about dirt, rocks, sticks, roots, mud, grime, alloy, rubber and sweat!
Who would you love to see become a member of
Farkin?
The greenies who took Lithgow off us... so we could get their IP addresses and track them down and hate them to death!
What are your best and worst movies?
BEST: http://www.pylet.com/ftp%20uploads/stromlo_0002.wmv (http://www.pylet.com/ftp%20uploads/stromlo_0002.wmv) ...
WORST: everything from 'youtube'!
If you could have a photo taken of you doing something other than riding a bike, what would it be?
Doing a defensive spiral in a Victa air tourer. It's a plane damn it. I have also been known to dabble in the dog fighting arts.
If you were a politician, what is the first thing you would change in Australia?
Invest 40 billion dollars into military hardware and munitions... oh and I might sell Tasmania or turn it into a Muslim state...
What are your hobbies apart from being around bikes?
I like to build stunts and that’s about it, I haven’t had much time to myself in the last 2 years.. Taking the guys out Saturday and Sunday and working five days... so mountain bikes are my life basically...
Pyley is one guy who has his eyes set on some big things for MTB in his area and Australia. He has a big heart and his presence on the scene is very valued.:D
