u will still be able to dj a manik but trailriding on the rampage wont be to nice on th rampage due to the ssv in the forks...

I haven't ridden either to be honest, but based on the specs i would go for the Manik, unless of course you do a lot more jumping than any other sort of riding in which case i would go for the rampage.

if your looking for an 04 model of either youll have trouble gettin 1 untill april, ive been in 3 different norco dealers, all of them had sold out of rampages, and one shop had a manik

I guess i was lucky i found out from someone that there was a rampage in the shop and went in there a few days later and pretty much bought it on the spot even thought i had a sasquatch on order lol, anway they should be in the stores in the next month or so when the second shipment arrives.

i am lookin aroung for a manik as well and i rang aroung some shops today (in brisbane) and they said only 1-3 weeks for when i order to when it gets to the shop

They basically feel the same besides the manik running beefy tripple clamps and a 24 inch wheel on the rear, if i were you id go give them a test run 8)

Ditch the manik honestly dropoff triples are like JudyXL's... theres no point in having tripples. It limits your riding possibilities to much and they arnt that great a fork.Tripples suck balls for DJ and trail riding, as you cant get any good tight turns in... Having used all of the shore hardtails, get the Rampage. Unless your a little fucking grom who just wants tripples for the sake of having them, and if your are go blow your money on them.

DJ= rampage
trail riding = rampage
hucks = rampage
going over rocky downhill single track = manik...
skatepark = rampage

getting bagged by everyone for having tripples on a hardtail = priceless....

The dropoff tripple is 5" i think.....ffs Drop of triples are a waste...
