Just thought I'd share some info I've found on training, both for endurance events, and general strength and fitness training. Feel free to add to this, I'll update with bits and pieces that I find around the place aswell.

thanx. one of my goals this year is to make it out to a race and i'm terrified i'm gonna run out of steam half way throught the race, probably half way up a hill. How embarrasing! so the guidelines are good for someone like me riding into the abyss.

Where are you located dude? I'm pushing to try and get a regular training ride going in Melbourne.
Training with other people tends to make you push yourself a bit harder and kind of forces you to not miss rides etc...

Really?
Not for me it didn't, I block all popups but Mozilla didn't tell me there were any popups for this site which it normally would.
I think you might have some Spyware issues DRUM.

I think this post should be un-stickied on the basis of the fact that the author doesn't actually train  and ends up at his PC discussing nerdy issues instead...
Please avoid shooting me down TOO hard. - this post is a certified shit stir of the guy who sits next to me at work...
