Depends how fat your ass is and how big the things you throw your ass off are:)
Seriously, a DHR will hold up just as well as anything else (if not better) and I believe if the worst does happen the folks at Turner are pretty good on the warranty front.

I know they hold up to my 110 kilos... even when i was repeatedly casing an 8 foot drop
Will the DHRs geometry be what you want though, for "Freeride" stuff?

ok i thought this bike was kick arse bike that could hold up to anything, i mean we are talking $4500 just for the frame.

$4500 isn't THAT bad (relatively), Intenses were over $6k and Foes are over $7k.

noone said it wasn't...
just that the geometry of the frame is completely DH oriented and may not be the best buy if you are going to do more "freeriding" than racing DH

223 was peatys custom bike made by orange. there were only 2 of them and he owned both. id rather have a 222 to FR on. because of peatys tall build orange made the swingarm longer, the mainframe longer and the seat tube higher. on top of this he had thinner wall main tubes and swingarm because he is so smooth. 222 would be much stronger and nimble IMO

Because he was so smooth or because he didn't give a stuff if they snapped after a couple o months? Longevity isn't really a big deal when you are on a factory ride.

Off topic but anyone know what a 223 costs?
On topic - Turners are built very tough. Very nice bikes, I doubt you'd have a problem with it.

That there is a Turner DHR, piloted by Hucker and sailing over a 57 foot gap on the Gold Coast. Strong bike? I do believe it is :)
