08:00 - DH open practice commences. Last transport to top of hill to leave at 15:45

08:00 - 13:30 Registration open for MtnX.
12:00 - 14:00 MtnX open practice.
14:30 - 17:30 MtnX racing.
17:30 - 18:00 Pack down

Sunday 22 April
07:00 - 08:00 Registration setup. Repairs to course marking.
08:00 - 11:00 Registration open.
08:00 - 12:00 DH open practice
12:30 - 17:00 DH racing
17:00 - 18:30 Packdown
17:15 - 17:45 Presentations

secondly: is the track open for riding on friday? if not where can us exited folk go for a tune?

thirdly : wil there be camping on site for the poor arses that may or maybe too tight to find traditional accomidation??

just wondering if somebody could provide me with a map on how to get there from sydney...i know how to get to canberra but getting to the track may be a problem, if somebody know of or has a map with name of roads, highways etc, would be much appreciated.

Go to Gogle maps http://maps.google.com.au/ and type in Mount stromlo. Should get you where you want to be.

Or you can go to Whereis.com.au and type in your address and where you want to go (Uriarra Road Canberra will do you) and it will give you the exact directions of how to get where you want to go.

hey mate just go straight down main road to canberra and go on the outside roundabout around parliament house and take the exit that says mt stromlo its that easy last time i went it was our first (me and my dad) we got lost and went that way and it took us strate there

yeh should be allright, theres a few ppl hangin at the tent! lets just hope all arent there at the same time! and my bikes in getting a race prep. now, but im going to take you up on that!!!!!
and as weather! canberra is almost allways hot,dusty,and you get mad lip chafe.....so bring some chapstick, or be ready to kiss a cows ass, as thats going to be the only thing to stop you from licking your lips!

Seriously, Canberra has dried out again since the unusually stormy and wet February this year. Although the weather maybe fine, there is potential for dust blowouts again if the wind picks up. Heres hoping for calm weather!

also what will the format be qualifying run for all catergories then final run??? or just final run for everything but elite. if so is there any numbers cut offs for final runs

It takes a good solid 15 minutes from parliament house if you drive like my grandfather and a bit less if you keep to the speed limit.

Stromlo is fairly close to everywhere. about 15 mins from the city or 10ish from woden. It's fairly central

My guess is that it'd be normal format with under 19 and elites having a qualifying run and a race run and then everyone else just doing a race run
