Round 2 of the TSG Brodie NSW State 4X series is on this Sunday at the WSMTB track in Ebenezer. This is the same track that was used in the State 4X series last year and in a club race earlier this year. It is a track that is a bit different to most other tracks featuring a few rocks and logs and a slightly rougher surface than most. It offers great, close racing with different options the whole way down, big jumps, inside and outside berms, transfer lines and it rewards those who are prepared to take risks.
Please remember that the track is on private property. Please show respect to the land owners by not leaving rubbish around and by driving in a sensible manner on the property and the surrounding roads.
There will be some track work on Saturday but no practice. If you want to come out and help on Saturday you would be very welcome, but PM me first.
Registration on Sunday will be from 8am to 10am.
Practice on Sunday will be from 8am to 11.30am. Racing will start at 12pm.
You will not be allowed to practice until you have registered.
Racing will be in the following format:
- All entrants in a category will be placed into 3 rounds of random motos.
- Points will be allocated based on finishing position in the motos.
- The points will determine who goes through to the finals.
- The number of riders going through to finals is dependent on the number of entrants in the category. 17 riders and up in a category will have Quarter Finals. Less than 17 riders will go down to Semi Finals. Any ties in points after motos will be determined by a run-off between the tied riders.
- Once in finals, 1st and 2nd in each race will advance to the next round and 3rd and 4th will be eliminated. There will be B-Finals to determine places 5th to 8th.
Bikes need to have a working front and back brake as well as 2 of the following 3:
- 26” wheels front and rear.
- More than 3 working gears
- Suspension
All racers need to wear an approved helmet. Full face helmets, long sleeves, long pants and other pads are recommended.
Entry fee is $35.
Online entry is now closed but you can enter on the day.
A Day license is $15.
There is no charge for parking.
There will be some food available at the site.
Directions to the track can be found on www.wsmtb.com
