Im just about to get myself an echo control stock 26" and does anyone know if that comes in a short or long frame version and if so which would I get for my height, Im 165cm (5.4 foot)?
Thanks
Yes it comes in short and long, 1065 & 1085 I believe.
Its a tuff decision, based on your height you would probably suit a short frame better, you could feel a bit too stretched out on the long.
I'm 170cm and have tried the long frame, it felt good and I prefer long frames but thats just me.
Short frames are more flickable and better for bunnyhop & manuals, streety style moves.
Long frames are better for comp riding, taps and generally riding on natural (rocks).
In the end its only 20mm difference so I wouldn't worry too much.

you think i should get the long, i reckon id feel more comfortable on a short, my mountain bike frame is 17" and i prefer the handlebars up close. But i dont think it would make much difference since im just starting out.

Please dont get a long. Especially if your just starting out, it will feel very foreign to anything else you have ridden and they are quite hard to bunnyhop and roll around on, especially at your height. Just my 2c.:)

Thanks for the feedback, ive decided ill stick with a short anyway. I feel more comfortable on shorter frames in general.
