Detail:
The Working Week Series.
Bright Orange Promotions in conjunction with a group of MTBA-afiliated clubs
are proud to present the "Working Week Series" - a series of five events,
each 8 hours long. All will be structured in the popular endurance mountain
bike format, and all races will be held over the months of spring and
winter, 2004. By working with some of the biggest and best clubs in NSW, we’
ve put together a concept that allows riders to ride a "40 hour working
week".
Each race will be at a different track, and will therefore present a
different test to the riders – different track lengths, different amounts of
climbing, different levels of technical skills required.
Each race will also offer plentiful prizes from our sponsors – both prizes
for the winners at the end of the day, and ‘spot’ prizes just for competing
throughout the day. In the nature of a true series - winners of each
category at the end of the series will also receive major prizes. Sponsors
currently on board include Fibrax, St Ives Cycles and Cycleops, with more
coming on board each week.
Each race will be hosted and run by a different club in conjunction with the
Working Week Series. The details for the races are as follows:
Race 1:
Club: Central Tablelands Mountain Bike Club
Location: Lidsdale track at Lithgow
Date: Sat 27th March
Race 2:
Club: Southern Highlands Cycling Club
Location: Southern Highlands

Race 3:

Location: Killingworth

Race 4:
