*St Mary's Cathedral (cnr Park / College st) at 7pm. BE THERE!!!

sydney ferries are being really boring at the moment, as such there is no 6:30pm ferry until further notice.

those of us on the 7pm manly ferry will meet the rest of you guys at "lady macquarie's chair-case".

now go out and practice those wheelies, i want to see as many people sitting up on the back wheel as possible :P

edit: Try a location for the non-regulars next time ya knobsack Dicky

Hrm... TAFE...
I'll cruise on the singlespeed to say my G'days if I feel up to the task. Otherwise, drop in to Ultimo TAFE and I'll use your frame to practise my welding on.

naz

ok we want nothing under 65 this is strictly a retired peoples ride, we ride around terrorising sydney in motorised carts,
:P
ok if u have a bike, know how to get to st marys, then u qualify, u leave after u have been ridiculed enough i mean tired :P

if ur really unlucky i may still come even though i've cracked my frame.. its time for the roadie to show its head.

i used it everyday like whore (riding down to melbourne) then i threw it aside when i was finish.. all loose and sloppy.

park in the 'Domain' carpark and then ride up the huge travelator which will bring you up just behind St Mary's Cathedral. From there it's like 50m downhill to the courtyard.

What's the cost like though parking at the domain?

I really have no idea. Alternatively, you can park in the many spaces available out the front of the Art gallery. But you miss out on riding on that HUGE travelator.

You can usually find street parking on the road just out front of the cathederal/where they meet....$4.50 to park there, take coins for the meter....

park behind Cook-Phillip park, the kings Cross side where all the drunks & bums hang out. It is metered parking but the Parking fuckers never come down there, i have parked there for the last 5 rides never got a ticket.

Domain carpark is 10-12 dollars.

I just put new forx & handlebars on my 125, so i think i will ride that this week

Don'r worry Wombat it'll be back out next week.

Pity my mate on his Pitbull won't be, he almost snapped the ligament that holds the outside of your ankle together.

achillis tendon fuk who was that, VERY VERY VERY painful

That security guard was the worst one i have ever had the displeasure of meeting, & i have met a few

To cut a long story short, we were riding at sydney uni, security came, got chased & i got caught. Now, instead of saying "get the fuck out of here" like any NORMAL person, this ex-high school bully said he had at least 2 witnesses who saw me deliberatly riding over & breaking sprinkler systems & telling staff members to "fuck off", both of which are untrue.

So he called newtown police & tried to get me arrest & charged with "malicious damage to property". The Police came& were pretty cool, they wanted to let me go with a warning, but the security guard kept pressing on them that i was a "grown man riding a BMX bike on illegal property & deliberatly breaking property". So the cops kind of charged me with tresspass, & i have to go to court in early march, but it is almost definitely to be dismissed & i won't get (another) mark on my record. Also I am banned from Sydney Uni for 2 years.

Quite a night!!!

Thanks to everyone who hung around & stuck it to the security, it was very appreciated.
Wombat, I tried to call you but i ran out of credit on my phone

Tis cool, I don't think I would have had much luck with that bloke anyway, despite the fact that the other guys there in uniform seemed ok (I got the impression they thought the meathead was just that...).

So, how about cutting syd U out of the loop for a bit then eh? Say, maybe 2 years.... :P

So, how about cutting syd U out of the loop for a bit then eh? Say, maybe 2 years.... :P

yeah, that place was played anyway....

The security guy (primo fuckwit #1) was a over zealous, power crazed megalomaniac. Everyone else was relatively cool ie not going off their heads & acting like i just shot a kennedy.
You should have seen how hard he tried to get the police to a) take me to newtown copshop, & B)get me charged with malicious damage.

Anyway thanks for all your help, you calm rational demeanour helped quite a bit :)

I guess I'm lucky I didn't turn up the other night, I was in a very foul mood, and would've caused trouble... but it appears there were some fuckwits to do that for you. Ugh... die... scum...

Emerin
20-02-2004, 11:29 AM
Shit RCOH... that's not cool at all. But the only thing that remains obvious here is that you've taken a fall for one of the jerks that do ride around the area like idiots and give the mtb'ers bad names. I hope everything goes ok with u... they hopefully will just throw it out.
