I think the flash was too close to the rider in the first two... Move it back a little, next time.
Otherwise, nice snaps!

nah, i had the flash on the most powerful light setting lol it was like 6pm and we needed to hurry before it was too dark

ahh the fujifilm 6500 is like 600 but i got for 440 with 512mb and 2 year warranty (ripped them off haha)
and all this was $200

Is it a digital SLR or just made to look like one?
Is it possible to get an external flash that doesn't run off the internal flash or a cable? I.E. Some sort of wireless communication?

yer i havent got a hot box, so i cant run a wireless flash, and doesnt have a cable input on thecamera, its a slr, has all the stuff like a pricey one, just stuff like removeable lens, hot box dont come with it :(

It's called a hotshoe as far as i know..not a "hotbox".
Nice shots, but one thing to remember, even though it might be getting dark it doesnt mean you have to have the flash on full power. You can see that the second shot is totally blown out on the rider due to the fact you've got the power on full. Also, next time maybe try lighting up the side of the rider facing the camera, rather than his side, unless that was what you were going for, but personally i think having the flash 3 or 4 meters to your left or right would have worked better.
Keep it up dude, would like to see some more shots in the future.

its a good cheap set up, and a greatcamera for wide angled photos.
i've only been into photography since about march. and learnt so much since then!
Sometimes sunlight aint enuff, slave flashes make photos so much more interesting. shadows, and all over dark lighting den a burst a light on the subject (birm photo)
thanks man, i insist invest in one :)
