Caroline crashed fairly hard in the mountain cross on Saturday night. SHe didn't look like getting up in a hurry and didn't do the rest of the weekend I believe.

A bit late (and I'm not a girl) but... Yep, saw the whole thing. However, the thing that everyone was talking about over there was not who won, or that Caroline fell off, but her previous qualifying run where she fell off, got back on the bike and then sprinted the last few hundred metres to get into second place and into the next round (which is where she took the tumble).

That amazing recovery is what people remembered!

Only problem was that she was so thrilled about making it through that she thew the hands in the air as she crosed the line, and that makes it hard to apply the brakes - and the barriers weren't too far in front of her. I'm sure you get the drift.

A few snaps at here (http://picasaweb.google.com.au/lematelot56). She is on the cover of Scotland 7 Sep finishing that qualifying run, and on the cover of Scotland 4 Sep in the opening parade.

There are some podium photos of Tracey in Scotland 9 Sep.

When you see Rosara Josephs walking her bike up a climb, you know its gotta be tough. Mind you, lots of the Elite Men were doing the same.

It was not so much that it was a tough climb by itself, rather that there was a right angle turn on loose gravel just before it, so there was no chance of maintaining some speed to attack the first set of rocks.
