Just heard some old Nirvana playing, and was wondering what ever happened to bass player Chris Novoselic? Does anyone know anything?

fair question, there are loads of other stuff like this asked, it was put in off topic, thats what its for, it says under off topic on forum index page "anything non-mtb related can be discussed here"

He is doing all sorts of stuff, he was recently involved in politics and was running for Mayor of where ever, but it turned out that there was already a Republican candidate and withdrew his nomination.

firstly it is "Krist Novoselic"

He is in a band that IMO are not very good called "Eyes Apart", along with a guy called bud who was the drummer (or bass player) for sublime, as well as another guy who i think played in the screaming trees (but don't quote me). They toured here recently but because there is already an australian band called "eyes apart" they toured under the moniker "the Krist, Bud & Whoever show". They came & went without much fanfare, although i think the album had a feature on JJJ

firstly it is "Krist Novoselic"

well I know hes also gone as krist novoselic , and im not sure abou all albums as i dont have them all but in the the credit things in 'nevermind' he's simply Chris Novoselic, but i also have "in Utero" where he is called 'Krist', what is his actual real name then?

I think that Krist was involved in a band quite a few years back called "Sweet 76". I also think they were short lived

hey roasted you stole my post ah well yeah Dave Grohls the only ex Nivarnaist still doing anything worth talking about with Cobain been dead and all by the way i just though id mention that im listening to nirvana as i type this, have the latest foo fighters and queens of the stone ages cds sitting in my cd collection..

Well he was, he's a bit of a band slut, but word I got was that the bloke who was drumming for them on the last tour out here would make Dave look pretty silly.
