View Full Version : REAL or FAKE orange frame?! need your opinion guys!!

Hi guys!! i need your opinionss.... for this frame,my friend are going to sell to me... but he's not sure about it,what he's sure about is ,it's an orange patriot frame... but he doesn't know which series? So i really need,your opinions... is this REAL or FAKE "ORANGE" frame? if real,what's the series and year of production? thanks for the help guyss!!! i really appreciate it..

definetely real.... looks to be something like an '03 Patriot 7+.

Looks very similar tot he one i've got, which is an '03 patriot with 5" travel, images can be found HERE (http://forums.farkin.net/showthread.php?t=91870).
Looks real, and as said above, who could really be bothered trying to rip off an orange, there'd be far too much work to do so....

Having owned 2 patriots, 1 an 02 and the other an 03, can safely say that the frame is definitely genuine and of this generation.
Do not think it`s a 7+, as the shock is a Fox RC in this one, and they were the std spec.
ATM I`m actually building an Old stock 03` Patriot up for a customer, so this all very fresh and frankly a bit WEIRD!?:confused:

Yep it's is definately not a lemon...I'm fairly sure it's an 03 model. The only lemons you see are from big companies that try to copy another brands ideas eg Cell. You won't just find a one of frame that looks that good (who would be bothered to make one).

don't they usually have an adjustable shock mount on the front of the shock?

The 222/3/4s do, patriot's don't...
