hey, does nayone know of a good hardtail frame that will be able to be ridden with rock shox boxxer race?
i'm downgrading to a hardtail and wanna swap my rock shox boxxer race onto them.
are there any good ones? like norco rampage, giant stp0, specialized p.3 or kona cowan.
the only one of those frames that you should remotely consider is the rampage even then i would only recommend 170 mm forks not 200mm.
Any of the early 2000 era burly hardtails would do (and maybe a bit cheaper now)
Evil Imperial
Morphine
Le toy
basically check this thread (it's epic... and then some)

mate i run a 205 norc otorrent frame with drop off triples and it goes fine, for triples on a hard tail old norco frames are the best because they run slack head angles

i think you'll find you'd be better off running a cromo frame if you wanna run triples on a HT
i put 888's on my old cove sanchez once for a muck around & they went well
can i ask why your downgrading to a hard tail?

drop off triples are 7 inch he wants to put 8 inch on it would make the ha pretty steep.
try and find ones designed for triple use such as the ones ty has suggested.

I have 1 24 inch and 1 26 inch rim, what would happen if i put the 24 inch one on the front . that would make it not quite as steep.
It'd look pretty goofy but would it work.

i'm downgrading coz i stuffed my dually frame, i'm getting it fixed but i cant be bothered wasting my energy fighting against the back shock when i;'m goin up hills.

yeah but why are you bothering just get some 66s or totems on the hardtail it will make it so much more versatile.
