Err, i'll assume your talking about Spray Paint. Do you want a $100 Can of Spray paint? Or a $100 Paintjob on your bike?

In english?

It is very hard to under satnd what you are trying to say.

From what you said it sounds like you want a $100 can of spray paint?

OR do you want to get your bike sprayed/powder coated buy a profesional painter for about $100.

Is it really that hard to understand? The guy is looking for a spray paint around $100. Not a paintjob from a professional!

Yeha but $100 bucks worth of paint is alot of cans. Much more than you would need for a bike. Unless hey wants good quality paint wich would cost him about $13 a can but still thats a lot of paint for a bike.

Or have i completely lost it??.

I also might add that it is nearly imposible to get paint in melbourne now unless you are over 18 as its illegal to sell to minnors.

Everybody in this thread is thick as a post except the guy who started it and nofearnick, I know he didnt write it properly and it could easily be interpretted that he wanted $100 worth of paint, but really how stupid do you have to be to not figure out he wants a $100 paint job, geeze

This is what i was trying to sort out. So everyone could see.

Anyhow moving on. From what I have seen of Grips work it is really good. Off the top of my head he is based in Research Which is just passed Eltham.

Also I think I remember seeing something on Melbourne Riders about a cheap paint jobs for $30. not sure what there like, But illl have a look around for you.

I can spray fairly well actually, i've got a thread which has a photo of the checkered paint job (don't make me do that again) and i've just about finished painting a STP Midnight Blue with flame decals.

Otherwise, look at automative dealers. There are some places which paint cars, but if you give them your frame they will beed blast it and then paint it your colour of choice.

There is also a sticky of painting your own frame, its not that useful but gives you a basic guidelines on how to paint it. However if your frame is in good condition with minimal paint chips you can sand down the frame, under coat, paint and then clear coat. Its really not that hard.

Off topic, but this is pretty funny:

(also dont us msn txt, ull get in trouble)

See the irony? :p

Just to sort a few things out Wolverine,

wif is spelled with
ur is spelled your
awsum is awesome
don is done
befor is before

etc...

It might have been easier to get your question answered if people knew what you meant.

Anyway if you end up taking it to a place that doesn't do heaps of bikes you might want to do the masking yourself. For example covering the head tube, BB, etc.

It's cheaper to just do it yourself:

http://forums.farkin.net/showthread.php?t=62163

Also easier to just strip, then spray the frame.

wolverine26
22-11-2007, 08:04 PM
