View Full Version : Clipless pedals vs Pedals

Hey,

Guys i want some advice... my mate just got some clipless pedals and he sais there fantastic. I think he is over reacting like he usally does but hey. Just wondering is it worth buying Clipless pedals for downhilling and is it harder to bail from stacks?

(I Bail alot :p)

They're great for accelerating and icking up speed effortlessly but they require alot of confidence. If you don't have confidence in yourself when you come to a trciky section, you're lickely to change your riding style and take it easy, resulting in a stack. If you're confident, they're great for powering along, but can be a pain in the ass if you can't unclip at low speeds.
