Wondering if one of the DH riders who was with the guy that snapped his leg today is on farkin?
I was one of the other riders who helped out directing the Ambo's, wondering how your mate pulled up, the ambo's were saying they were going to chopper him out, sounded pretty nasty.

On the See-saw run, before the see-saw... wouldnt have thought you could do it there, but i suppose you just need to land wrong for something bad to happen.

Saw the ambo tracks this morning and was wondering where it happened.
Not good for the poor bugger who had his leg snapped but it was probably going to happen at sometime down one of those runs. Whoever you are I hope you get well and are back on your bike soon.
Isn't it always the way that an accident will happen on a part of a track that seems pretty straightforward.
Cheers,
CBG.

another injury for thre big man. Don't worry he'll be right, Tough as nails, that one!
You're a broken leg Andrew, you're a broken leg.......
PS. I tried to call you and Jamie on both your landlines and mobiles but no answer. Guess you're in surgery old mate! I'll try ya again tomorrow. If you get a chance to read this, let me know what happened! Were you trying to keep up with gramps again? or did you eat it it mid-Burndown? hahahahaha
Does anyone else from C'Town know the details on what happened? I'm keen to find out how it transpired!
PPS. Pics of the jelly leg or it didn't happen!

That would make a change from all the druggo's and stabbings they usually get!
Hope the dude recovers ASAP. Bad luck champ - but sounds like your mates are used to you wrecking yourself:D
Which track was this on? Get well dude

Well big thanks to all the guys that helped me out on wednesday avo, didn't think I'd break my leg there but I do get fair bit of speed up down that track, was juat a real unlucky crash bailed off and bike smashed my leg and a stick against the big rock there, got a Ti rod put in on thursday avo so should be riding in bout 8 weeks, shame to miss out on buller but better than missing whistler :) Also don't know why I got offloaded out on ambo into chopper but guess they did't want to waste the flight out (those chopper guys were really switched on) they kept me in good spirits as did Ben and Scott who I've met down there couple of times (thanks again for sorting my bike and car out) and thanks to other guys for directing the help. have to say I really thought breaking your leg and having it flop around would be alot more painful, guess all the other guys around making me laugh and stuff helped alot. Well see you's soon on the trails!

Yea, good too see your still keen to ride. My friend had a big crash and it shook him up pretty bad, took alot of convincing to get him back out there.
Hope you get out there soon with a speedy recovery,

That's the spirit bloke! Good to hear you're upbeat about it all. Happy rolling once you're back on the bike.
