DH/FR I just take 1 or 2 nutri-grin bars and some of that vanilla energy gel in the tube sachet things, great stuff and a camel bak filled with 3 litres of water/ if i feel like it I will put some Nuun tablets in there as well to make one the best energy drinks ever with no sugar! great drink for getting rid of stitches/fatigue and re-hydrates better than gatorade

Lol.. SUBWAY are the major sponsor of our first 8 hour XC race here in Townsville :)

Rockwheelers have just christened its inaugural 8 hour XC challenge the "Subway HOTRock8" which is being held at Ross Dam on April 13th 2008 as part of the Suncorp NQ Games. Watch this space for more information (soon) and trail-building days (later). Thanks to Subway and our other supporting sponsors (we'll let you know who soon) for blasting this one off the ground.

Closest takeaway shop to where we are at the time; maccas is a favourite.

As most of my riding was done FAR away from the local shops, Subway is out of the question (actually Subway is out of the question anytime, by far the WORST quality fast food of them all. Lower in fat, yeah, but brown lettuce, and imitation bread worse than Mcdonalds own ersatz buns?)

I like Musashi energy bars, Binka's sour Squirms, Allen's Snakes and plain water. Lemonade Icypole goes down well afterwards in summer though.

Tradition for a sunday mtb ride. Go down to Big Dads Pies at kingston and have a big dads special (best breaky pie ever!). But if ridding bmx, just the closest shop and get whatever floats your boat.

we normally stop at a supermarket to load up on cheap drinks then grab fish and chips! there always seems to be one near by where we ride. we've spent enough money on the bike so the cheapest food we can find is always the way to go!
