Ok, for those of you who wear New Era style hats, could you please post up the size that you wear.
Secondly, are there any new era style caps that are fit alls? Can you get them with elastic at the back or something or does that stop them from being conformist cool?
*Damn you snotty nosed little punks, why can't you just wear a one size fits all style cap!

The hats that have the adjuster strap at the back are generally classed as "one size fits all"
The usual measurments for the Flexfit style hats are:
XS/S: 52-54cm
S/M: 55-58cm
L/XL: 59-61cm
I wear the L/XL size..

Well..I can wear either size if the hat has a strap and it fits ok. Either with the strap done up quite loose if its a S/M or with the strap quite tight in a M/L.

quite loose on a S/M or quite tight on a M/L.

I would be a size S/M
Most people i know perfer and wear the one size fits all Flex-Fit versions of the New-Era style hats... Its too hard to ride or be active in a fitted New-Era style hat.

I haven't been able to find anything like this over here and I'm getting together samples to send to the manufacturer. Would be sweet as if I could get a hold of something like that to make instead of splitting sizes.

Heres some pictures of my one size fits all Supra hat. Its a normal New-Era hat but with Flex-Fit elastic. The look of a fitted New-Era but it actually fits your head and doesnt fall off when you get active.
There pretty common where i shop. You either get the fitted New-Era hats or the Flex-Fit ones.

The only thing I've been able to find in Beijing so far are the non-flex fit style new era's. Will see what I can find from a friend in Shanghai. I need a couple of these for samples to send to the manufacturer for final quote....blablablah.
God I'll be happy when this is finalised!

7 1/2 inch.
I wear a size 7 1/2 in New Era 59/50 style and S/M in Flexfit.
Flexfit and 59/50 are two different styles from the same manufacturer, Flexfits are "two-size fits all" due to having elastic in the band, 59/50 are sized in various arcane measurements and increase in size by 1/8" at a time and have no elastic, hence they are "your size fits you".

In the future, people will look back upon new era hats and wonder 'what the fark was I thinking wearing such a ridiculous looking article of clothing?'
That is all.

Right, excellent, thank you.
I was really confused and a little bewildered when I looked for samples to send to the manufacturer because all I found was this farkin multitude of sizes in the "your size fits you range" and was becoming really skeptical that I could pull this off. But, being that flex-fit are still a saleable item, I can look at producing 50% S/M, 50% M/L and be able to supply to the demand. Without flex-fit, the New Era hats were becoming less and less likely, but things are looking more than pheasable again.
As for those who aren't into new era, like me, don't worry, I'll still be doing trucker style or basic baseball caps as well.
I'm into New Era but for some reason i have a bad feeling about the outcome of Farkin ones . So I think i'll be going with a trucker.
Yeah sorry, not much to contribute, so I'll go back into my little corner now.

Small/Medium for me =] I had a cap once which was supposedly all sizes. I didnt really understand how it worked though. I reckon if a Small/Medium size cap was made and had elastic all round the outside - easily stretced elastic and maybe like a mesh kind of fabric, like the fabric they use in 661 pressure suits thats really breathable, cos I reckon it would stretch pretty well and the hats with that kind of stuff looks pretty good
