Hello all,
recently found the forums here not a bad read and quite informative too.. a good source!! Not sure if you have a thread for new member introductions, but a quick search did not show any thing so I'm guessing not, so thought I'd post up a message and say hello to you all :)
Thanks,
Paul

Well it just makes sense to me, also it's something that I see time and time again people not using the search function. I try my best not to waste peoples time :D

Well I don't have much time these days but how ever I'm in the market soon for a new bike. I decided a Mountain bike from the start.. then once I started looking about I thought you know what I should really get myself something good and actually go and get into some serous riding again, see whats out there to explore, have some FUN!
Years ago I used to ride BMX and Dirt ... currently riding an old GT bike (just a to and from work bike basically) .. cant think of the model off the top of my head but I think its fairy old it's got one of the genuine gt bash plate part :p
But to answer you question about styles of riding, for me thats where it gets confusing all theres new names and abbreviations.. maybe someone would be kind enough to bring me back to date.
But yes just trying to save some money up at the moment.

Someone should stickey this thread and it should become the same as the one on bmx-forum. It's a place where you can introduce yourself in 1 thread and people can only reply positivley!
Good onya mate,

Yep, I'm going to need all the luck I can get! No not really that bad just going to take me a while to save for my bike, quite a bit of money involved but thats ok :)
Then once I finally get all the setup might have to find out the good places to ride and see if I can hookup with some local people or something but so far from my research seems like I'm going to have some fun times getting to some of the places people ride.. as I don't drive. But I can sort that out later!
currently riding an old GT bikePost pics. now.
